Well, there is no definite answer to this question. There’s a lot of factors that can influence a man’s capacity in this area. First thing to consider is age. Young men (i.e. 18) will often have shorter refractory periods often of only a couple of seconds. Due to this, it is possible for them to have easily 10 orgasms or more in the same day. On the other hand, an older individual (i.e. 50) will typically need a couple of hours before he will recover an erection so in this case the number goes down to 3-4 times max. As age progresses, (i.e. 80) most men need at least 24hrs before they are one again ready to go! So for them, we’re talking about a couple of times during a weeks-span.
This being said, as with everything, other factors are to be considered. Overall health conditions; heart, blood circulation, stress, etc. will have a significant influence on a man’s sexual health and can contribute to falsifying these statistics. It’s very important focus on or put undue pressure on the fact that you, or your partner, are not capable of the feats seen in a movie or read in a book! Over the years, this has been a topic that has been frequently brought up and more notably in the past few months, I’ve heard some couples struggling in this area after reading the book “Fifty Shades of Grey” where the protagonist has multiple orgasms EVERYDAY and never fails to be ready in a heart beat day or night! Well, even if it’s a very good book, it is not an example of what you can expected of a man and no one should feel bad about not having these capacities, it is fiction and should be naturally taken as such. A man can sometimes have a very “good” day that will exceed expectations but it probably will not be like that day after day. Don’t forget, it’s like any physical activity, some days you are just in better shape than others!
