The MSSS (Quebec Provincial Health and Social Services) just launched a new campaign vaunting the use of the HPV vaccine. To achieve this goal, it is drawing a comparison of the advantages, risks and inconveniences of the use of the vaccine to those of a chastity belt. Somewhat entertaining, however quite ridiculous, this campaign misses the point and fails to transmit the important message to our youth as well as their parents. What are the facts?

As of Monday, the Viberect is now available to Americans suffering from erectile dysfunctions. Available via prescription, this therapeutic vibrator, that is FDA approved, details for 300$ USD plus shipping costs of 19.95$USD via the Relexonic website. First gay wedding in Cuba? Not really!
For Cubans, last weekend passes in the annals of history as the first ever official gay marriage was officiated. Gay marriage? Well not exactly… At least not by legal definition. Truly, from an official standpoint, gay marriage is still very much not legally recognized in the country. The couple in question found a loop hole in the system to achieve their goals; One of the partners had a sex change. Officially recognized as a woman since, their couple was no longer considered as homosexual and could then get married like any other couple. Careful now! Homosexuality and transsexualism are two very different things!

Pregnancy in space: Mission Impossible?
Researchers at the Ames Research Centre in California believe it would be impossible to conceive and bring to maturity a pregnancy in space. The issue is with the strong cosmic radiation emitted by proton particles that lead to sterilization of the conception. Similarly, these effects could extend to men by affecting the quality of their sperm. Technology today simply does not allow us to conceive a shield strong enough to protect against these radiations!
